Blog 13, 2026

For some reason, the the year “2026” freaks me out. Every year in this, the 21st century, seemed to be a normal progression. Now that we’re on 2026 - and beyond - I feel as if I’m in a science fiction movie, communicating through my devices while I ride around in my driverless car and talking with someone on the other side of the world - wait, that IS what my existence is like. Nevertheless 2026 feels very strange to me.

I’m taking a couple digital steps this year. I’m starting a Substack post. I don’t know what it will be about but I’ll keep trying (a much better effort than my once yearly blog postings) until I figure it out. I can be found on Substack at @jklossner.

I’m joining the digital sales world. I’ve designed a character that is printed (for now) on clothing, hats, mugs and stickers. It is available for viewing and purchase on this website on the MOOSE MERCH! link, and will be available in select shops in Maine. If you have the urge to shop in person, right now the merch can be found at Lucy & Moosey in Kennebunk, Maine.

That’s it for my yearly blog post. I’m currently reading a history of the Panama Canal and, let’s just say, history repeats itself.
